I'm waiting to let others be the guinea pigs first, lol.
LifeIsFR, if you want to do OTA, go to options>advanced options>wireless update. I've never done an OTA install, and I've heard they can take a really long time though.
Not many posts here, but this my 5th or 6th os upgrade, installed after a wipe, all is working good, gps is working better than 975, all apps I have are working great.
ymmv... good luck to all that try
I've got a verizon blackberry but really want to stay consistent with my os upgrades...worth a shot? I'm on .975 right now and its been treating me very well

Hmm, ota is not picking up the update, I have .675 I believe.
Very snappy. Battery is solid. BBM upgrade? It looks different for me and it gave me multichat options now? Maybe a BBM upgrade I missed. Anyway, OS is solid.
I've been having browser problems all night since I upgraded this...hope its just problems with the servers and not this OS. But yeah horrible connectivity issues with the browser
EDIT: very minor memory leak with this compared to 975

OTA will NOT work unless the previous version you have on the phone is an official released OS. This was an issue for lots of VZW users who had been using leaked OS's and then tried to upgrade to an official release OTA and found that it says "no update available". If it doesn't show up OTA, go and get it via the BB website.
I did not like it...my "File Free" was significantly less with .983 as opposed to .975...I did a complete wipe with JL as well.....already went back to .975
Browser is working fine, actually faster then my last OS. I haven't tried the pod charger yet (that's what I use at home) but it is charging from my work computer USB cable.
I did have a problem with the old OS where it wouldn't charge from the USB port (had to charge it from the pod), but a battery pull fixed that. (It wouldn't go into bedside mode from the USB port)
I'm hoping to get better battery life, my last OS would only give me about 12 - 15 hrs with limited use...
Still cant get this OTA, dont have access to a data cable at the moment, guess Sprint hasnt made it available yet this way, not sure though, I have .675.
I borrowed a co-workers power cable, when I plugged it in, I got the flashing lighting bolt. I guess this doesn't prove that it is charging, but it is the best I can do right now.
So its been about eighteen hours since I did the upgrade and I think everything is starting to settle in...browser is better now and memory too. Hope it stays that way

I downloaded this today and there are some things I do see differently.. The BBM is different and when I clicked on my voicemail it shows up differently. My browser is working fine and my memory is much better..We will see as time go, but this is what I have noticed thus far.
It's weird about 5.0 OSes on Tour. Mine took about 4-5 Battery Pulls to settle in when I went to .624. Until I did them, the device ran like crapola. Battery was terrible, and it would do really weird stuff. Settled down to just the click issue and some freaky media scrolling that would settle down if I closed the open browser page.
