I downloaded the SI app and it didn't work so I used desktop manager to uninstall and it did but now the icon is still there and it has an arrow with it and it says archived. All it will let me do is reinstall and cancel.

I think you can open blackberry app world on the device and go to "my world" and delete the archived app there and that will take it off the device too.

Terry is 100% correct that if you go into app world you can indeed by clicking the BB menu button you can Archive ther app in case you decide that you want it back it saves the hassle of reinstalling it and there it is again or just archive it and it will archive to your media card and that's that.

Yes it will also though take the icon of your handeld for sure.

I speak from experience...LOL

This goes with anything you download from app world..
