    For some reason, my tour just randomly threw this error up today. I'm not in an area with no coverage because I'm in my apartment where I have been using this phone on a daily basis for the 6 months that I've had it. It's weird.. I went into "Services Status" in Manage Connections, and it says I'm not connected to anything, and it says my Mobile Network Provider is AT&T when I'm actually with Verizon. Help?

    Try going into manage connections and switch it to 1XEV. Also try a battery pull after that.

    Yeah...if you go through a period where you drop CDMA coverage and your phone is set to "Global Mode", your phone will search for a GSM signal. If you don't travel overseas, setting the Network to 1XEV should help cut down on that.

    Settings -> Mobile Network...
