    For the blakberry tour, is it possible to sort contacts by date added?

    I can't imagine that this wouldn't be possible, but I can't seem to figure it out.

    BlackBerry has never had that capability. If you sync to Outlook on a PC, it might be possible. I don't know if contacts are time/date stamped or not.

    What us the original address book?

    I did sync to outlook, but as I haven't done so in quite a while, I have 25+ new contacts and can't identify the one I'm looking for without guess/test method of calling people.

    I can't believe that the oldest of flip cel phones sorted contact by date, and blackberry contacts is so limited!!!

    Anyone else have any suggestions?

    The sort has to be done in Outlook. Assuming you only created contacts in your BB, then do a sync to your Outlook address book.
    For 2003 go to your contacts view.
    View/Arrange By/Current View/Phone list
    Then:
    View/Arrange By/Current View/Customize Current View
    Select Fields pulldown menu and select All Post Fields
    Hilite "Created"
    Click "Add->"
    OK/OK
    Now review the added contacts in the "Created" column, all new contacts should have "today's" date.

    Hope that helps.
