just unlocked my (verizon) bb tour 9630. already says t-mobile on top with a pretty good signal. unfortunately it says "sorry, only emergency calls are allowed" does anyone know how to make this phone work? thanks a lot.

It could be that your phone is not actually unlocked, or maybe your SIM is bad.

Make sure the CDMA radio is turned off and that it is really using the GSM radio. Does it say 1X/1XEV or EDGE?
It sounds like it is trying to make the call over the CDMA network, which would be locked down to emergency calls only.
