Is it normal for the song to start over when I'm listening to music and I get a BBM message or text message?.....It only does it when I have my sound profile set to anything other than vibrate. If its not what should I do or can do to stop this from happening?

yep this is an OS bug, nothing else you can do about it now until they release a new update for the Tour.

what are you using to listen to music?

because if it's pandora you might need to upgrade the version you are using

Yep just set the phone to vibe when listening to music :

im just using the BlackBerry music player that came installed on the phone.

set the phone to silent or vibrate. then issue is gone. thats what i do at least.

yep, I am an avid podcaster and this aggravates me to no end.

Yeah..the song doesnt restart for me..more like it rewinds the song 5 seconds backwards from when I got the msg...I use my phone at the gym for music...definately annoying.
