So I just upgraded to 5.0 and I noticed if I go into my address book, and click the blackberry button and select send SMS to someone it pulls up a blank sheet but no text bar and sometimes it brings me to Messages. I'm confused

happens sometimes when your running 5.0 sometimes it takes me a few times til it lets me open their text chat..

a very common bug on the 5.0 OS... its why its only a leaked OS

When in your address book and on the person's listing, press the BB key and select "send SMS text"... that will bring up a window with the text input bar.

This solution is all over the forums, if you had only done a search for it.

This workaround works for the problem above, but on some occasions it bounces you out of the text screen.

That is why they call it leaked ;-)
