Since I updated my os to 5.0 on my vzw Tour I haven't been able to receive SMS texts. I have done a million battery pulls and even called verizon. Still nothing. Any ideas???

Don't know much about running the leaks. I know that VZW won't help you with them though! Maybe it is an issue with your service books.

Go into your email settings and hit menu and resend service books. Lemme know if that helps.

Actually vzw was quite helpful and tried everything. this version is out there but verizon hasn't officially released it. One of the ladies I spoke to actually went to the blackberry website and downloaded it she said because she couldn't wait for Verizon to come out with it.

I just resent the service books. Tks for the tip but still nothing

Since a battery pull and resending the sevice books didnt help you could try to reload the OS onto the phone. Something could've messed up when you loaded it on. How did you install the new OS? Verizon hasnt released any official 5.0 os fyi.

I didn't use the dm I used the loader. And if u reread what I wrote I said verizon hasn't released it but its out there. When verizon decides to release it who knows. Tks for the info
