My Tour is set to the Silent sound profile, and I am still receiving a notification when I receive text messages. It only occurs with texts, I don't hear a sound for anything else. From what I have read about the sound profiles, it seems like I should not be receiving any audio notifications when I am using the Silent profile. Is there any way for me to fix this issue? Or at least to verify how each sound profile is supposed to work?
I would do a battery pull. There is no longer a way to modify individual sound profiles but no, you shouldn't have having this issue. See if the battery pull works
(And update your CB profile, it says you're still using a Pearl!)
Thank you Aetius. I updated my profile and tried the battery pull. I still get an alert when I get text messages, even though my phone is on silent. I even went into Ring Tones/Alerts and for SMS text changed it to silent. Strange...
