I got my first blackberry (actually my first smartphone) a week ago. I have the tour. I have figured out a lot of it but one item I cannot figure out even after reading the guide.
I want to have the icon for a particular app (weather) on the main screen. It is currently in downloads. I cannot figure out how to do this. I assume it is possible. Any help??? Thanks in advance!
Highlight the app with your cursor, then use your menu key and scroll to "Move to Folder". Chose that, and then a list of "folders" will show up, choose "Home".
Scroll to that icon in the Downloads folder. Click MENU (aka the BB button to the left of the trackball) and choose Move to Folder. Select the Home folder.
Press ESC (curvy arrow to the right of the trackball) to exit this Folder.
Find the icon again, click MENU, this time select MOVE. Drag it to the top line of 6 apps to have it appear on your Home Screen.
