I wonder how many post start with "When I had my Curve..."

So, when I had my Curve, if I selected a file to "Set as Ringtone" it would make that the DEFUALT ringtone for the PHONE on a whole regardless of which Profile I had selected. The Tour doesn't seem to work that way.

I have created Custom Profiles but the "Set as Ringtone" option doesn't effect the Custom Profile which I created... it still rings with whatever ringtone is selected.

i.e
Custom Profile was created with RingerA.
Then I "Set as Ringtone" RingerB.
Customer Profile is selected... phone rings... and I hear RingerA instead of RingerB

I can sort of see why this would be, but if I choose a tone to "Set as Ringtone" I'd like to think that it was set as the ringtone... make sense?

Anybody know how to do this? Or am I stuck reminiscing about the good ole days?

Just use "set ringtones and alerts" under profiles.

ehhh... still doesn't work.

I changed the PHONE ringtone using "set ringtones and alerts" - hoping to set the tone for the PHONE on a whole.
I have my current profile set to one I created called "Work" and the phone just rang with the tone I have set for that Profile...

Any other ideas?
