I know this is totally newbie, but I just want to cover all the bases before I jump on the Tour wagon. I currently have the everything data share plan through Sprint, are there any additional charge(s) to use the Blackberry internet, mail...etc? Also can my saved CSV file(s) be imported into the DM with out using MS Outlook? TIA, one week from today I will be picking up the tour when my upgrade comes up!!!

UPDATE: I just called the local Sprint store and their Tours are Mexico with a build of 090909... YIPEE!!

Dont know about the other stuff, but you HAVE to have BIS which is blackberry internet. Its required. With Verizon its $29.99 a month.

I think the cheapest plan with a berry on sprint, is $79.99 a month, but I dont know whats included.

This includes unlimited texts, internet, and 450 minutes of talk time right. ANd sprints nights start at 7 correct?

I have their (Sprint) everything data share plan now (two phones) with 1500 anytime minutes for $114/mo...but not sure if they charge a different rate for BIS service. Guess I'll go log into my Sprint account and do a little chatting with them and the upgrade to BIS. Thanks and I'll let you know what I find out.

Wow, Verizon really rapes its customers. Too bad I just upgraded. If I have Sprint coverage here, I think Im going to have to make the switch. $110 or whatever the **** my bill is, is insane. In 2 years though....

There is no extra charge. BIS is included in a everything data plan. I have the 1500 family minute plan also.

Great that makes me feel better! I tried to chat with a Sprint agent... but they already went to bed...light weights..lol. My only worry is that only one of my phones in my Everything Data Share plan I have currently will be a Blackberry.. the wifes phone is an Instinct. But if it's a problem.. maybe I can talk her into upgrading to a Berry too!! Thanks for all your help... I plan on calling Sprint or maybe going into a Sprint store this weekend to see what they can tell me. Gonna be a long time (10/1) until my upgrade comes up!!

UPDATE: well I just chatted with Sprint and she said there was no additional fee to use the BIS even if I only upgrade one of my phones. Now I just need to be able to wait till next Friday to pick up my new Tour!!

thanks man. looks like ill be paying the $175 cancelation in a few months perhaps. Unbelievable, verizon service and coverage is great, but man they blow.
