As per conversation with telus a slim down version will be offered starting Aug to oct, will be released to tour owners.

As also i noticed they no longer have the tour for sale on the telus site so only chance of getting one is store availability.

I'll believe it when I see it...info from carrier reps regarding specific devices should always be taken with a grain of salt. Ask 5 different reps and they'll say 5 different things.

That being said, if there is one in the works it should be available for download through the Blackberry carrier OS page if/when it becomes available. And it wouldn't be a time limited download.

Are you sure he wasn't talking about the 6gb data plan for $30 promo that's suppose to be running from Aug-Oct?
