How can i put my phone on ring and vibrate at the same time incase i cant hear it in my pocket i can feel. Thanks

You need to download buzzme...there's no way to do it without a 3rd party application.

Or if you load the 5.0 version of the phone OS, it will do it natively.

Which version of 5.0 are you using? On the tour I have (official 5.0 from sprint), it will vibrate first, and then start ringing.....

Yeah unless you have the 5.0 OS, you need to have a third party application.

like others have said, 5.0 already does Vibe and Ring together. if your running a 4.7 OS, you need an app to do that like "buzzme"

BerryBuzz (or BeBuzz, depending where you look) does this as well. I highly recommend that app for changing the colors of your LED, and the vibrate+ring is just one of the side benefits.

just out of curiosity, and i've wondered this since the day i got my tour, why isnt this just a standard setting? the last few phones I've gotten one of the first things i do is set it to ring and vib at the same time. surprised this wasnt possible without an app after paying so much for a device.

and I hate the ring THEN vibrate.

Its from my OS update because I didn't download any app of that sort and I was editing my sounds profile and there it was and it DOES ring and vibrate. After I finished editing I thought I should see if anyone else found this on Crackberry. I'm just stoked!

Which version of 5.0 are y'all using? I'm using 5.0.0.484 on my Sprint Tour, and i don't have the vibe and ring option on mine....Only option I have is Vibrate: Always, and that puts the vibration on first, and then the ringer....

I'm using 5.0.0.548 but I had it on previous 5.0 versions as well.

You need to select "Custom" and then you will get the option.

I for one love the vibe then ring feature. If I'm dealing with customers, it gives me a chance to silence the phone before rudely ringing in the middle of our conversation. Just wish there was a way to make it vibe twice then ring three times like my curve did. Does 5.0 make it automatically vibe and ring at the same time?

Yes you can customize if it is WITH the ringtone or not and how many vibrations you want before you hear your ringtone. OS 5 FTW! Hehe.

Thanks MisterObvious. I was looking at the "vibe with ring" feature as vibrating and ringing, just not simultaneously, so when I shut that off, it did just what I had wanted. Wish I had known when I bought the phone. That's why I didn't buy the Storm 2. Couldn't figure that out, and neither could my Verizon rep, who is actually one of the better reps out there. Your post made me look, so thanks again
