    Do you change any settings? It could just be one more bug on the OS. So while the phone is ON, remove the battery for 30+ seconds and replace it.

    What do you mean stop sounding? As in, they no longer sound at all? Or, they start to sound when you get an alert and stop in the middle of alerting you?
