Is it this way on all or just mine that the right convenience key seems to double click in. I can press it lightly and hear a click - but it does not open the Camera, but if i press it harder it does.

yes its a 2 stage button, its one click for the focus and all the way in to take the picture

Its just like your digital camera - when you halfway press it, it will focus, and when you fully press, it will take the picture...

It has been covered on a thread already posted here but yes it is made like that specifically for the camera and its features.

Well for that use, no, the 1st "detent" of the button won't do anything.... but even though it will go to your messages, it will still focus in the camera app.

when the right hand button is pushed once it will "wake up" the Blackberry; pushed twice it will open whatever program it is set for
