Lilke the title says, I just replaced the OEM trackball on my Verizon Tour with the OEM trackball for the 8830/8100/8300 series and its just as bad, maybe even worse. Any other ideas?

Any chance the trackpad from Tour2 or Bold2 can be retrofitted?

I don't understand, did you buy the phone used or something so you can't get a replacement?

At this point it doesn't matter if it was new or not. The warranty is null and void because it has been taken apart now. Should have just got a replacement and went on with life.

your screwed now since you opened up your phone which voids any warrenty thats on the phone..

may I ask why you did that instead of getting it replaced?

and no, trackpads will not work with the Tour 1

It must be your sensor board.

    I believe these are $15-$20 from cnn.cn

Now that you've replaced the ball assembly, you should have no problem plugging in a new sensor board.
