Hi, everyone

I recently bought a blackberry from a friend and it worked well in the beginning. He did not give me a charger so I let the battery drain because I was waiting for shipment on a micro usb cable I got from Amazon.

After I got the micro usb cable I connected it to the computer but it did not turn on and it was recognized by my computer in sporadic bursts. It was not able to keep a connection with my computer for more than 10 seconds. When I connected to my charger the red LED light would come on for about 10 seconds then turn off again. I was never able to turn on the phone.

So I decided it was a battery problem so I bought a new battery. Then it turned on with the new battery. It was working perfectly until I connected it to the computer and now the same thing is happening again. The device won't turn on anymore, and the red LED comes on for about 10 seconds.

Any help would be greatly appreciated,
