    I have a Blackberry Tour with Sprint, and I recently had it unlocked via Sprint's International Department.


    I was wondering if anyone knew whether my push e-mail would still work if I inserted a GSM SIM card with a data plan and properly configured it?

    I just want to know in case I travel to Europe or Central America and buy a prepaid Data SIM Card.

    Is "push" handled by the carrier or RIM's servers?

    RIM servers, however i believe the carrier is able to bypass whether or not your device has access to data so even if you have a GSM network you should be configured to receive it (data).
