    So I finally decided to call Verizon last week after experiencing issues with my trackball. The device was pretty much flawless for the first couple of weeks but the trackball began to degrade in performance to the point that it had become a problem.

    They sent me out a brand new device in the original Tour packaging, but this one had a green dot on the side of the black box where the SKU/MEID/etc info is listed.

    So far so good! They even fixed the somewhat loose battery door (which really didn't bother me in the first place, but is nice to have a corrected iteration). We will see if this trackball holds up more than a few weeks.
