Real-world Battery Stress Test (today)
- I lasted from ~10pm last night until ~6pm today, phone was on but idle overnight, used it pretty heavily for email/web browsing/applications while at work. Played around with GPS, not too much on the media though.
I mean, it's what I would expect. For a media intensive phone, and on a day when I was probably playing with it more than I would normally at work (lol), it did quite well.07-14-09 12:44 AMLike 0 - No memory, but a full drain will calibrate the battery w/ the device so the meter's right. I don't fully understand why, but after a few charges on my Storm, it got much better.07-14-09 03:48 AMLike 0
- Now, did you disable radio? On my curve, I have had it actualy pick up a signal for short bursts of time (Sending some SMS and a 20 second Voice Call (My other hald still has the msg in her mailbox as proof ). Anyway weak radio signals are the fastest way to burn up your battery.
Just makes me curious if you turned it off or not.07-14-09 07:06 AMLike 0 - i dont see the complaints being very valid.
youmail drains it fast i noticed that same with storm as well.
