I also had this problem, exactly. I gave up and installed the Appalacian 4.7 OS or whatever..

I'd try a re install to be honest. I've run 5.0.0.230 as well as multiple hybrids based on 230 and never had an issue with reboots.

True. I just assumed 230 because that version seems to be the most popular (and stable) of the 5.0 leaks.

I had the same problem so I searched the forums and someone said just keep hitting all the keys. I tried it and it worked. Never had a random reboot ever since that night...its been like 2 months now.

hate to sound like a super noob...but what do you mean hit all the keys? should the phone be one or off or does it matter?

i thought is must be a third party app that was installed so I, did a security wipe of all data and apps. re synced for data from my pc and went to work (planing on reinstalling when i got home.) and has been running stable since. how ever i have not been impressed with my battery life.

thanks for all the advice and help.
hope this will help some one else.

Do a clean install of 5.0 again, and do not install any other applications. Most likely you have one of the few applications that will not work with 5.0. Install your applications gradually, maybe one or two a day and use them. You'll figure it out. 5.0.x.230 is great!
