My dad has a Blackberry Tour from verizon 5.0 software. When he goes into messages to send an email as he types in the letter S for an example he gets his normal contacts that start with a S as well as spam email adresses.
For ex. SPECIAL DEALS ON ANTI..... SALES IN OUR DRUG STORE.COM ECT.
Went to verizon and as always no help... anyone know of a way to delete them from the phone. i checked the address book and they are no where to be found. Also if its a 5.0 problem where can i find the 4.7 file to put into DM. thanks
i have this happening too! For example when i type in 'cr' for CrackBerry Mods i now get an option for CrackBerry Mods and CrackBerry/Product Update/. It's also not in the address book.

i wonder if i delete the email from gmail if that will get rid of the address. i know gmail saves email addresses that were used in the past as recent or something. Thanks, lastraid!

I have this happening as well. It seems that as I delete the junk emails, there are less of these addresses.
