So, my current 9630 Tour is messing up, yet again. And my warranty through Verizon is done, sadly.

I do have an extended warrant through some company that Verizon offers down in Florida. So, if I replace the phone for the track ball through said company, will they give me a refurb'ed 9630, or the new 9650?

And also, say I get another refurb'ed 9630, and only having a Ubuntu PC which, i doubt there is a BB manager for, is there any way to back up my contacts to the SD card and switch it to another phone, and load up the contacts on the new phone..?

Has the Tour been out a full year? I know it is close? But the warranty should run the full year.

Half a year, but I guess Verizon only allows 2 replacements under the warranty, and no more.

My Tour always works for at least a month or so, and then the trackball just decides to go wild.
