    Do you mean PocketMac? Yes, it pretty much works the same...when you can get it to work. I never could and ended up getting Missing Sync for $40ish.

    not going to pay for that software for the one month i need it. Just have to pray that my phone doesn't crap out until that time

    Use the change device wizard, it will back up everything. Besure to select cancel when it asks you to enter a new device pin

    You cannot use Pocketmac nor Missing Sync to do a backup or an OS upgrade on your Mac.
