Does anyone know whether or not v5.0 will be backwards compatible with the Sprint Tour's v4.7.1.40? I have approximately 17 apps installed. While the majority of them state that they are for v4.5 or higher, some indicate they were written expressly for v4.7. I'm wondering if, should I elect to upgrade to v5.0 when its officially released, will it render my apps inoperable?
Another question: Does anyone know what enhancements v4.7.1.42 will provide over .40?
Some of them might have a problem but you shouldn't see it a widespread issue on your "17 apps". That being said, developers would be quick to fix it as long as it was a popular app. I would be willing to bet though that all your apps will end up working.

yeah u shouldnt have a problem if you only have 17 apps installed... if u were to have 30 or more apps maybe u will get 1 that wont work, but only 17, you should be fine
