I got the tour today and have been playing around with it. I set custom ring tones for some people and got my profiles how I wanted them. Well come to find out, for the people I have set custom ringtones for, when they SMS me if my phone is in the holster I get no sound but out of the holster and for people with the generic ringtone the sound comes through just fine. What am I doing wrong?
you're not doing anything wrong. It's an issue with the current verizon OS (.61) Your only two options are to downgrade to .40, or try installing a beta 5.0 OS. Or, like me, you can just not customize any of your contacts, and wait for the next software update (which is exactly what Blackberry told me to do....WTF)
