Problems syncing Tour with Desktop Mgr on Win 7
- I have BB Tour running 4.7.1.40. My Desktop Manager is 5.0.1.18 running on Windows 7.
I am unable to sync my tour with my desktop. When I am doing backup the Desktop Manager will simply crash.
I am able to sync the same tour with the same version of Desktop Manager on XP, and I am able to sync another BB Storm with this Desktop Manager on Win 7. So individually each component works find. It's just a combination of Tour with Win 7 that's causing some issue.
Anyone had a similar problem? Any ideas on how to resolve it?11-14-09 03:23 AMLike 0 - Zhenya,
Have you attempted to run the BB desktop manager in compatibility mode? Also, Microsoft does have an official Windows 7 Support Forum located here Windows 7 Category . It is supported by product specialists as well as engineers and support teams. You may want to also check the threads available there for additional assistance and feedback.

I should've mentioned that if I run Desktop Manager in XP Mode under Win 7 it works fine. It's just a bit inconvenient because some file of synced application are located in a certain directory and can't be moved. So I can only use those Apps under XP Mode. Also if I am installing something and my BB needs to reboot it loses USB connection (for some reason it only works in Attach mode for me) and the whole install fails.11-16-09 12:00 PMLike 0
