I have recently bought an unlocked Sprint 9630.
I am trying to set it up for use with the carrier service 'Digicel'.
When I am trying to activate my digicel data plan, I have to dial *136#, to activate a series of texts, that enables the data plan with my network. However..
When i enter the command (*136#), instead of connecting to the server, it dials it like an actual number and gives a recording saying the call cannot be completed.
I think the problem may lie with:
1)my phone not having the carrier's service books (however my old Blackberry D/Led them instantly)
2)I am running an older version of the Tour (v5.0.0.624)
3) No entries in the 'Host Routing Table'.
