I'm seeing way too many negative posts about the Tour on here... thought I'd help others make a great buying decision by posting positive things.

1. My trackball works perfectly
2. My screen does not ripple
3. People hear me clearly on the phone
4. I can see YouTube videos without changing settings
5. My phone is super fast!
6. I've had my phone off power since before noon yesterday and it still has two bars left. I have not plugged it in at all since yesterday. I've been using it all day. I always exit programs when done with them though, except for Gmail App.
7. Camera saves photos fast
8. Bluetooth works fine, and I can even tether with it
9. My keyboard feels great and easy to type with; very comfortable
10. GPS works great

And I could go on and on.. but there are 10 for ya!

after a little diy battery door fix, giving up on my bb headphones working in the jack and just using another pair, and clearing up a data plan issue with verizon (which was very quick and painless, luckily) it works perfectly. i love it. as a first-time smart phone owner i think this device was a great place to start.

Kingzee, your sig is completely misleading. That link leads to a thread where you say you exchanged your Tour because of the trackball issue. There's nothing about you damaging your Tour or talking to a manager. Did you link to the wrong thread or am I missing something? :-)

I have to agree with stormsucks75. I have had not a problem at all. The battery door issue, well I use the BB condom and screen ripple I only see that at night if I really look hard for it.

I pretty much agree with post #1, with possible exception of GPS (once Google posts a fix for Google Maps for Sprint Tour allowing a GPS lock, that will change). My 2nd Tour's trackball and battery door have been perfect, and it seems to load much faster too.

Gah I love this thread but hate it at the same time!
I'm on the fence about getting a Tour or waiting until the Palm Pre comes to Verizon (rumored 2010).
I've loved the BB look for a while but have never owned one.
I was going to wait until they worked out the bugs (hardware is hardware, and it's the luck of the draw) but this thread makes me want to go out and get one now!
