I accidentally dropped my crackberry in the pool yesterday and I did all the fabulous ideas I found here, but the keyboard and trackball don't work. I filed it on insurance and a new one will be here soon. My question is: Is it possible to delete the messages and/or info on my phone before I send it in? Hehe

did you have smrtguard or any of the other back up apps? If so log in online and remote swipe the device. If not take it to VZW and ask them to work their magic

My wifes got wet and trackball and keypad wouldn't work, used desktop manager to switch device and it asked if I wanted to do a wipe.

If the device actually powers up and your computer can "read" it, then you can wipe it using BBSAK or JL_Cmdr, or a similar tool. If possible, I'd recommend making a backup you can restore to your new device before you do this as well.

If it doesn't even power up or connect to PC, then it becomes a bit more complicated...
