If I am reading the posts right, there should be an OTA option under Advanced Options right?

I have tried a battery pull, register through the Host Routing Table, and I have resent the Service Books via VZW/Blackberry BIS. No luck.

Any suggestions?

"Wireless Update" is on mine under Options - Advanced Options but when I click on it, click Next and then 'Check for Updates' it say 'Unable to send request for available updates'

On my bold I had the same situation. Had to use the "wipe handheld" option. Then once phone was wiped the option was there

Yes it's for updating the OS over the air, instead of using Desktop Manager. FWIW, I don't have it either. Not to worry though.

It shows up based upon a service book. When there is an update available, it may show up, or try rebooting the phone/re-registering the HRT/get your SB's resent to the phone.

Updating OTA takes forever. Just use DM and save yourself 5 hours lol

Never done it, but I'm sure it will take a while. I wouldn't trust it either. I feel much safer using a wired connection and DM.

So, I'm still curious about this. I don't have it either, but I had the option on my Storm.
Is there a reason it's not on there? Is there a way to get it?

I didn't have it on my first Tour, the second one I have though has that option... wonder why some have it, some dont
