My BB says I have 4.7.1.57, I downloaded 4.7.1.77 from the Blackberry site thru the Sprint option.
How do I install it now? My DM says that I am at the most current OS and doesn't see the newer version.
Can anyone tell me what the current version is for Sprint?

I'm hoping this fixes the EXTREME lag on the BB which is making me consider getting rid of this BB.

Tried Wireless Update and it says no new update available.

Why is there a newer version on Sprint's site??

If you downloaded a large file from sprint you can install it to your pc then plug in your bb to the desktop manager. It should see it and offer it to you as an upgrade option.

How did you download and what was the name of the file you downloaded?

Here it is from the Blackberry webite. The latest official OS from Sprint is .57.

    Package Version: 4.7.1.110
    Consisting of:
    Applications: 4.7.1.57
    Software Platform: 4.1.0.70
    File name: 9630AMEA_PBr4.7.1_rel110_PL4.1.0.70_A4.7.1.57_Spri nt_L.P.exe
    File size: 102.16MB

Package .77 was the original OS installed on Tours that had the 4.7.1.40 Applications.

We usually call the OS by the Applications version, not the package.

    Hope this helps.
