Just letting anyone with US Cellular know they can now have an official OS 5.0 from RIM via the update through Blackberry.com. Checked to see if it was available through the wireless option but nothing appeared. i think its OS 5.0.0.484.. Anyways thought I would just inform you all!!

I got the same email. Upgraded as soon as I got home from work today. The OS 5.0 is very smooth no more lags even though I didnt have many when I was running 4.7..

Go to blackberry.com/update. I got the email because I signed up to be notified when there was an update available.

I was actually running a the beta 5.0.0.591, but i downgraded to the official one just in case it was somehow better???
