I am a corp user so I cannot live with a non-official OS. But let me say that 4.7.1.61 is awesome! ZERO lag where there used to be a lot, 20MB more free memory and great call quality. I highly recommend to anyone who has yet to upgrade

Man if u think thats great, i dont know what youll think about 5.0....that does suck thought that ur not able to have a leak OS on it...but ya, ur gonna love 5.0 when it releases after the Tour2 comes out.

I can wait for the official 5.0 release! Even though I know my IT guys pretty well, I am sure they wouldn't install a leaked OS... Until then I am enjoying .61. Also cut the boot time from 15 mins to 3.

im sure .61 is better then .40 but the 5.0 hands down is awesome. I could never downgrade back to a 4.7 OS ever again though

lets just hope verizon pushes out 5.0 soon so guys like you who cant have it can finally get what you been missing out on

Wow. I really didn't have much of a difference at all from .40 to .61.

I noticed that .61 eliminated the lag. The trackball responds better as well, which may be another benefit of eliminating the lag. It's like RIM gave the user interaction functions more priority or cpu time. 4.7.1.61 was a very significant enhancement from my point of view.
