(Tour) Have edited all sound profiles to notify during call. None of them do. Of course AFTER the call they come through fine. As tech support I'm on phone alot, and I need to know if/when new email or SMS comes in!
An SMS will come through, and it should notify you. But, you won't get emails until after you end your call. CDMA networks (Verizon, Sprint) can't do voice and data at the same time. The 4G networks that will becoming more and more available will have this feature though.
But as of now, the only way to receive emails while on a call using Verizon is to be connected to wifi.
