    so i have a blackberry tour 9630 on verizon's network, and for the last day or so, ive had a battery draining issue that the blackberry will not go into standby, i press the mute button for it to go into standby, and it fades out and comes right back, like it would have if i pressed mute again or something... HELP!!!

    do a battery pull. phone on, and pull the battery out for 30 seconds. replace the battery, let it boot, and try it again.
