I just got a new tour from verizon to replace my original tour that had trackball issues. I did the device switch with DM and everything seemed to copy over just fine with one exception. I keep getting new messages (both email and sms) and the top bar is showing that I have 6 new messages but they are not actually showing up in my messages. Any ideas on what I can do.

did you do a battery pull? do you see all your folders (email,sms,individual email accts)

Yeah, I did a battery pull and I am able to see the folders. All of my old messages are still showing just nothing new.

open setup folder>open email wizard>when it connects>hit bb button>service books>send service books

Ok, thanks. I just figured out that the device switch didn't change the PIN number on the account so I switched that and did the service books and still nothing. As soon as I did the service books it said I had a bunch more messages but still nothing shows up.

I even just tried to send an email to see if it would go through and it sent but that isn't even showing up in my sent messages.

Ok, I figured out the problem. I was getting my messages but for some reason the date is showing at November 17, 2009 on the main screen on the phone and its putting all of my messages back on that day. How do I fix that? I go into settings and it is showing the correct date though.

go to the most recent message, Menu> Mark Prior Opened
