suddenly two days ago, I no longer am receiving my emails from my gmail account into my inbox. My text message are fine and IM are fine but emails are not longer pushed to my 'messages'. Any suggestions?

Try a battery pull first. I would then resend the service books if the battery pull didn't work.

I know that with a few of my accounts like hotmail for example, i have to go to my BIS account and reconfirm my password every so often or it stops pushing it to my phone. I dont know about gmail but maybe it's like that too.
You can also do it from your phone thru email settings.
