    The LED alert light on my Tour suddenly does not flash red after receiving new emails/IMs/phone calls.

    It does light red while rebooting, and under my sound profiles LED is set to "ON" under the various type of incoming events. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

    Make sure that you are not in Bedside Mode. Clock > BB Button > Exit Bedside Mode.

    That was exactly the problem. I exited Bedside Mode, and now the LED alert works. Thanks for the help!

    No problem. I had the same issue when I first got the device, and learned the hard way how to fix that.

    Thank you thank you. It was driving me nuts. I actually set all LED alerts to OFF rebooted and turned em on again. Thanks for the EZ fix.
