I have the primary line and my NE2 is on the 15th of august. As you already know my line can get the upgrade as a 2 yr price ($199) but i really want to use the NE2 since in the 10 years i have had VZW i was never patient enough to wait for the NE2 and always went for the early upgrade. Is there a way to upgrade this sunday and still get my NE2?
Little to no chance unless you know someone you could manually do it for you. You could try calling up Telesales and either begging for it or just waiting for an extremely nice rep to help you out.
My NE2 was originally due to hit on 8/25. I called up customer service and explained that I've had to get my Voyager replaced twice already and I want to move on and upgrade to the Tour with my NE2 upgrade. Without an argument from her she moved up my NE2 right away. I was on the phone for about 5 minutes. Now it does help that I've had to replace my phone twice already and that my billing history is PERFECT, but it can't hurt to call up and ask. But if you are going to call, do it today (not on Sunday) because it took a few hours for my NE2 to be adjusted in the system.
thx. i have been patient up to this point especially since my current phone (gen 1 env) is cracked at the hinge. it works but i am real annoyed. i will call and see what happens.
if you havent made a change to your plan seince before feb 2009 it should be $50 if your plan is less than $69/month, and $100 if its more than $69/month.
If you have made changes thoes numbers drop to $30 and $50 respectively
My discount is $100. If your calling plan is $79 (or $69, I can't remember) or over you'll get $100, anything less will give you $50.
They recently changed the discount to $30 and $50 instead of the $50 and $100, but that won't affect most people since anyone that last used their NE2 before 2/15 is grandfathered into the old pricing. When you call up and ask about your NE2, they'll be able to verify how much you're eligible for.
Just tried. Got denied by a real nice rep too..my NE2 is in Sept and they couldn't do it. She even said she mArked it in the account so I can't Try n call back either ...pssh

not really, i called and asked about the same thing and they said they dont like to move this date up..I would wait it out so you can get an extra 100 bucks off the device.. thats what im doing, except mine is up 7/28/09
