so yesterday i found a little scrape on my trackball and it has been the reason why my trackball has been getting stuck (atleast i think so). So i want to bring it into telus to get it fixed. The thing i'm wondering about is would it be under my warranty?

Your Best Bet is to ring up your provider and they should easily deal with it.. this is why they introduced the new trackpads to the BB

Be prepared to migrate your data to a new phone. I don't think any of the major carriers are replacing trackballs in house. They are issuing new or refurb phones.
