I think right after they get the BIS working again.. they are upgrading the internet to handle all the upgrades to 5.0 that will be flooding the air waves..... no just kidding. I really hope they release it soon.. I'm about ready to try the beta!!

I used .230 and loved it, the only problem was facing to use google MAPS 3.2.1 didn't pick the location and always showed location unavailable .... I switched back to 4.7 but im missing 5.0 on my tour :-(

Please can anyone tell me the solution to get Google MAPS work on 5.0 tour?

Does BBM 5 work with OS 5.0.0.230? Some people say yes and some say no. I am running 5.0.0.230 and it works great. I am still using 4.7 of BBM and would love to upgrade.

I have a question i installed .230 and ive been trying to look at my saved messages and whenever i click on the saved message it just goes to my text messages and doesnt show me my message. I'll even scroll all the way up and still wont see anything. Anyone have this problem or know how to fix it?

it pretty easy just follow the instructions, but instructions can make it seem alittle difficult. youtube a few how to videos...

Actually, I didn't even need instructions this time! I installed a leaked OS on my 8330 a few months ago and was confused. this time it was SUPER easy..

just now my BBM is gone as well as BB app world so I'm fixing that. I don't like how "Media" is a folder now but I love the threaded SMS. Also sucks: all my themes were reset! You know the icons have to be in a SPECIAL order or chaos ensues.

wait, I just got an sms from a mobile number and the BBM notification is at the top of the screen. Confused now, though!

It's like NIKE...just do it haha. I've been running .230 for two months completely flawlessly. Some people have problems and if you have problems then just reinstall the OS. Simple as that!

very brave of you! the only issues I had were with bbm that was easily fixed and for some reason, i had two email icons.. I hid one. I didn't know what else to do with it!

That's basically all you can do with the email icon. Most of us have our emails coming into our messages inbox, so no need for two inboxes with the SAME emails haha.

So go .230 already!

I havent had any problems with BBM on 5.0. You can always install it from app world or the blackberry site after upgrading.

Anyone found a way to jumpstart the gps on verizon with .230? It's the only thing not currently working on mine. None of my gps apps can find a satellite. Everything is turned on correctly.

My trackball just stopped working will it be super bad when I take it in to vzn running 5.0? cuz I'm guessing they will just give me a new phone..

well, correction. it scrolls every way but DOWN and i fight it to make it scroll down.
