Hey everyone,

I received an MMS message with sound. Now whenever I get a text, MMS, BBM or e mail the sound that was attacher to the MMS plays as well as my ring tone. I deleted the MMS, then deleted all my messages, checked for it in my ringtones, videos and music. I cant seem to locate the sound anywhere and to top it off the sound it plays is something vulgar!!

Any ideas?

Seriously, how many of these threads are there now?

wattz, this is apparently a problem with Verizon's new 5.0 OS (ver. 519) You need to pull your battery to temporarily stop the sound byte from playing but I think it will continue coming back until you locate and delete the source.

Or downgrade your OS to another 5.0 or 4.7.

No kidding. I'm glad I stayed on 4.7 honestly.

4.7.1.57 seems to have no issues for me and I don't really need/want the bells and whistles.

The only reason i upgraded to 5.0.0.591 is because i was getting Reload Software 552 errors when downloading apps on 4.7. i'm not sure it was worth it...i had one bricked Tour on 5 OS, but so far my replacement Tour on 5 is ok.

Thanks everyone, it was fixed by a battery pull. I'm now on my 2nd tour in 2 weeks for other reasons. FML. Is there a easier way to save apps similiar to how I save contacts on back-up assistant. Thats the biggest pain in the a$$ when replacing a BB.
