im sure it is something stupid that i did but i am missing the phone icon....any help???

Lok in your applications folder and hit the BB menu button to Show All. You might have hidden it w/o knowing it or sometimes this just happens but it should be there.
As an alternative if you want to view your call log, just hit the green call button and your phone call log will pop up as a shortcut.
If you find it in yout applications folder then hit the BB menu again and select move to foder and select move to home screen.
