OK, so I received my replacement Tour (yes, with a green dot on the box).

Got it activated with Verizon. Reconnected to my office's BES server. All data successfully transferred. Began redownloading some of my apps (Amazon, etc.).

    But then I noticed...

The built-in Notes and the built-in Taks applications are no where to be found!

    I've checked every folder. Zilch.

Where are these two apps? Can built-in apps just go missing?

Any suggestions, or do I need to wipe it clean, download a new copy of the OS and start all over again?

I think you can download the OS from the carrier website.. and load it on your computer..

these apps should be available via app loader I believe..

Thanks. This is what I ended up having to do. I was concerned this would entail a full wipe/restore, but was able to install just what was missing (a couple of games also were seeming not installed either). Odd.

Did you remember to "unhide" them on your Icon screen? i.e. Show All

Too late now but just curious

Yeah. Nothing was hidden. And they weren't listed in the Applications list on the setup screens.
