The asterik notifications on my folders are not clearning. I have taken the battery out three times today for a reset and that clears them. But as soon as I get another SMS or EMAIL message, open them, and back out of the folder the star is still there. What do I do now?
Perhaps it is a missed call notification? Delete your call log. Happened to me when I first got my BB and I was like WTF GO AWAY, then I figured out it was the missed call alert lol
Do you use the combined Messages app, or the separate email & SMS/MMS inboxes.
If you use the separate ones, find the Messages app on your Tour and check there. Once you're there, clicking U will toggle between unread messages.

Load your messages folder, go to the top most recent date (not message, actual date), click it and select "Mark Prior Opened" - sometimes that clears it.
Not sure what to do next!
