I have an envelope that indicates I have two new messages but I do not. I verified all my message were read, non unread. I did a battery pull twice and it still will not go away. What else can I do?

Check your saved folders, as something could have been inadvertently saved while new. Also, check your individual email account folders as well as your primary message folder.

If you press "u" while in those folders, it should show you anything that's unread.

That was it! Thank you. The new messages in my saved folder were the ones I thought I deleted earlier but must have done something wrong.

First try a battery pull, if that still doesn't help (which it should), but if no, I would try changing themes and see if that resets that icon.

Check missed calls also as they can trigger this...

Go to HELP
type in the search box "saved messages"
result will be on device or on bing
select on device
it it show the folder where the saved messages are.
delete them and the indicator will not longer show messages
