I KNOW that this question has had to be asked before with previous BBs. I am not sure if this is a BB thing or a VZW thing or I am SOL thing.

This is my first BB (Tour) and the Message Center combines everything, and it is easily gotten quite confusing.

I set up my mailboxes, so e-mails go to both, plus SMS, missed calls, etc.

I am overwhelmed in trying to seach for the answer, so I apologize.

But is there anyway to seperate the message center into seperate icons so I can easily view missed calls, etc and my e-mails won't mixed in?

If you're asking how to separate sms and emails:
go into messages
bb button
choose General Options
scroll down to sms and email inboxes
choose Separate
exit and save

Thanks, that I figured out. I was referring to "everything else", it seems like it is just one big dump site and no apparent method to seperate.

While very rheortical, why do I need an SMS to let me know that I have VM?

I don't think there is a way to separate it any further.
