Memory leak?
Hi, I've done some searching just need some reassurance. I have a new Blackberry Tour and LOVE it. I have been watching my memory and it seems to very slowly go down. 107.6Mb to 107.5Mb to 107.4Mb over the course of an hour. Is this normal? Only extra program I have running is BerryWeather. Also is 107MB a reasonable amount of space to have available.
Last question, I have 4.7.1.61 installed. Should I upgrade to 4.7.1.61 (4.1.0.81)? What will this add? Not brave enough yet to install leaked OSs.
These forums have been my lifelines as I have started learning about my new Tour. Thank you all for your help.

Dropping 0.1Mb - 0.2Mb in the course of an hour is not a memory leak. It represents normal usage. The device uses memory as it operates. You're fine.
If the device is operating the way you like and you aren't having problems, then there's no reason to update.

Thanks for the response Motorcycle. I really love these forums.
Is 107MB a reasonable amount of memory? What does the Tour application memory start at?
Was thinking about using the free version of BeBuzz...have people been happy with this? Has it created any problems with current profiles/alerts?

107MB is a ton of space.
You can see the File Total and the File Free together if you press ALT SHIFT H all at the same time.
My File Total reads 186 122 240. I typically run between 90 000 000 and 70 000 000 File Free and I've got a bunch of installed.
Definitely try out the free version of BeBuzz. I liked it so much that I purchased the paid version. I haven't had any problems. But you do need to go through the settings and set it all up.
